Automatic Preparation

The Automatic Preparation function considers all the orders until the chosen shipment date. The orders are sorted according to increasing shipping dates (defined in the orders).  The inventory and the status have to be defined in the Item maintenance page. The Automatic Preparation function analyzes inventory availability for the successive orders. 

According to the shipping policy, the logistics department ships

•      The orders that can be fully delivered,

•      The order lines that can be fully delivered,

•      What can be delivered as a function of the available inventory.

The inventory issues are automatically generated.
