If the coherence of the firm orders is satisfactory, these orders can be released automatically. You can do this using the Automatic Work Order Release function (Scheduling menu). This permits the user to avoid repetitive work.
The release end date must be entered. All the orders whose date is before or on the end date are examined. They are sorted by increasing release date, then released (if possible). Some orders might not be able to be released if their components have been reserved by previous work orders.
