The ‘bills of material comparison’ function lets you identify the differences between two bills of material: either the bills of two different items, or two variants of bills of a same item, or the same variants of a same item at two different dates.
The procedure is as follows:
•Select an item and the bill of material variant and the date of comparison,
•Click on the Compare button; the window title is modified to “Bills of material comparison”; the Cancel button to allow you to cancel the comparison procedure.
•Enter the code of the item to compare,
•Select the type and the variant,
•Enter a date of comparison,
•Click again on the Compare button.
The system displays the differences between the second selection and the first one.
The components present in the first selection and not in the second one appear with a negative ratio.
The components present in the second selection and not in the first one appear with a positive ratio.
