Closed Work Orders

Work Order Closing

A W.O. can be closed when the total order quantity has been processed (status Completed) and only the finished good components are entered into the inventory.

Clicking on the Closing button can close an open W.O. The system controls that all the components have been issued to be consumed. If such is not the case, it posts a confirmation message.

If reserved components have not been issued from stock, the system reinstates them into available inventory.

After the closing, it is not possible any more to issue components on the W.O. nor to enter production reports.
