Rates appearing in the Cost Center window are determined by dividing the sum of the amounts displayed in the cost center headings, for every costs category, by the number of standard labor and machines hours.
If you modify the number of standard or simulated hours you must click on the Update button to compute again the cost rates.
If the of the Standard Costs Update option is selected, the standard direct labor, setup labor and machine costs shown in the window are computed during the items cost rollup with the selected costs elements in the window.
These standard costs are used to determine the work order costs. When you place the mouse cursor over the fields, the standard cost elements are displayed.
