Part Flow Control in Workshop

For the Counting point operations, one reports a quantity good and a rejected quantity which are cumulated for the operation. The good quantity is transferred to the following operation. If the operation is the last of the routing, the quantity good is cumulated in the Completed quantity of the W.O.

No report can be made for the operations that are not count points. It is considered that the work is done as soon as the preceding operation is finished for the reported good-parts quantity. No scrap can be recorded. The labor and machine times are equal to the standard times.

If the first operations of a OF are not counting points, the total quantity of the W.O. is transferred into the queue of the first counting point operation (which can be the last of the routing since the last operation of a routing is necessarily a counting point).
