If the
distribution option has been selected (Administration page), The sales
order preparation has to made in the corresponding warehouse (see
Distribution chapter). The Sales Order Preparation page presents the state of a sales order. The Available column of the table shows a quantity only if the item inventory status was specified on the Item Maintenance page. The shipping policy, defined in the Shipping Policy window is recalled.

With each new entry, a new shipping note number is affected.

The order lines for which a preparation can be made are marked in the Sel. Column (by a X figure if a complete preparation is possible, by a P figure if a partial preparation is possible). Carry out the preparation of order lines for which preparation is possible, i.e. the default inventory status must have been specified on the Item Maintenance page.
The amount that can be prepared is displayed. The preparation of a line can be cancelled by clicking in the Sel column.
In order to prepare an order line from a specific warehouse, you can click on the Lines button or you can click on an order line on the grid. If the complete order option is activated, it is not possible to prepare from the order line preparation page.
