Scheduling Summary Report

The frame in the in the Finite Capacity Scheduling management page displays a first scheduling summary report concerning the considered work orders:

      Number of WO read: number of firm and open work orders (closed work orders are ignored)

      Number of far WO: number of firm work orders with a release date posterior to the scheduling end date

      Number of frozen WO: number of firm or open work orders with a frozen schedule (for example for work orders scheduled in a one-by-one approach, via the Work Order Scheduling function in the Scheduling Charts window).

      Number WO not scheduled: number of firm or open work orders with a earliest end date posterior to the scheduling end date

      Number WO to schedule: number of firm or open work orders to be scheduled

      Number of late WO : number of firm or open work orders with a due date posterior to the scheduling end date (forward scheduling cannot be applied to such work orders)

      Total number of operations : the total number of operations for the scheduled work orders

For each schedule, a summary of the results is recorded. The different columns of this report have the following meaning:

      End date  : the end date for the realized schedule

      Type : the scheduling type (Forward scheduling, backward scheduling, priority rules)

      Rule : Order sorting criterion number (for forward scheduling or backward scheduling) or Priority rule number (for priority rules scheduling)

      Options : selected options (overlapping, check component or tool availability)

      Not sched: number of work orders that have not been scheduled

      Past due : : number of work orders with a scheduled end date posterior to the due date

      Ave del. : average delay for the scheduled work orders

      Max del. : maximal delay for the scheduled work orders

      L.T. : global lead-time until the end of the last operation for the last scheduled work order

      % utiliz. : resources utilization rate

      Ave. Wait.: average waiting time of the scheduled work orders before access to the required resource

Once a scheduling procedure is finished, several performances indices can be accessed by the different buttons in the page.
