Sub-contracting Work Center

The window for a subcontracting work center is different from that of the other types of work center:

•      you must enter a subcontractor code which is a vendor; it has to be defined previously in the vendor table,

•      you must enter a standard and a simulated hourly rate for the subcontracting operations. The cost of a subcontracting operation is equal to the operation time multiplied by one of those rates.

•      The Workshop field can be used to regroup several subcontractors.
