nVC Work-in-process Valuation

This function is available only if the scheduling process is carried out by Priority Rules with the option "Check components availability" activated (Scheduling tab, Preferences window).

This graph shows the projected value of work-in-process corresponding to the scheduled work orders. For each work order, this analyzes the future events on the work order. It is worth noting that these valorizations use the standard costs.

The projected value of the work-in-process distinguishes:

the Materials value: the work-in-process is increased value of the components when releasing the work order and is decreased when the work order is finished and enters in the warehouse,·

the Machine added value: it is equal, during each period of time, to the sum of the Machine added-value of operations in progress. When the work order is finished, its Machine added-value is deduced from the value of the work-in-process.

the Labor added value: it is equal, during each period of time, to the sum of the labor added-value of operations in progress. When the work order is finished, its Labor added-value is deduced from the value of the work-in-process.

The fluidity index is the ratio of the production value divided by the average work-in-process value.
