BOM Variant Table

An manufactured article must have one manufacturing BOM but can have also several replacement BOM, in particular according to the routing used, which are named BOM Variants. These various BOM are recorded starting from the BOM Maintenance window.  They are related to the item on the Routings tab of the item maintenance window.  One can also choose a BOM variant for each planned or firm work order.

The BOM Variant Codes must be recorded in this table. Example:

•      PURC (if using a purchased component in place of a manufactured component)
