Budget and Simulation

The budget costs data are fixed and can be considered as reference data during the whole budgetary period (usually one year). These data permit comparisons and/or simulations between forecasts and observed reality.

The influence of the different cost parameters on the standard costs of the items can be visualized from the simulation data. The data can be modified and are exploitable as the base for the next draft budget.

The Copy budget data to simulation data function (Costing menu) enables the user to copy all the data entered for the budget into the corresponding fields to carry out simulations. The user then can modify one or more of these simulated data to measure the effect on the costs.
