Cost Center Maintenance

Check box

If the box Production Cost Center is selected, the workloads corresponding to the different work centers in the cost center are computed. These aggregated workloads are then displayed in the Workload Table and in the Workload Profile functions (Planning menu). For the cost centers that are exclusively used in accounting procedures for cost allocations, it is not necessary to select the box. The data concerning the activity are not necessary and the standard costs are not computed.

Fields

Cost Center Id:	Obligatory field. If the code exists, data is displayed.
Description:	Cost center description.
Standard Machine Hours:	Number of standard hours of machine activity, as planned in the budget, that enables the ventilation of the fixed direct machine costs.
Standard Direct Labor Hours:	Number of standard hours of direct labor activity, as planned in the budget, that enables the ventilation of the fixed direct labor costs.
Standard Setup Labor Hours	Number of standard hours of setup labor activity, as planned in the budget, that enables the ventilation of the fixed direct labor costs.
Simulated Machine Hours:	Number of simulated hours of machine activity that al enables the ventilation of the fixed costs of machines.
Simulated Direct Labor Hours:	Number of simulated hours of direct labor activity, as planned in the budget, that enables the ventilation of the fixed direct labor costs.
Simulated Setup Labor Hours:	Number of simulated hours of setup labor activity, as planned in the budget, that enables the ventilation of the fixed direct labor costs.

Buttons

Beside the standard buttons, the buttons of the cost center maintenance window have the following uses:

Budget Lines	Opens the Budget Line Maintenance window.
Usages	Displays the list of work centers belonging to the cost center.

If the cost center is associated to any work center, it cannot be deleted.

You can print the cost center list by selecting the ‘Cost Center List’ report in the Technical data section of the Reports window.
