The transfer function allows items to move
•from one warehouse to another,
•from one status to another (inside the same warehouse),
•combination of these transfer types.
In order to enter a transfer transaction, the following must be specified:
•the transaction date (by default, the current date is proposed),
•the code of the item to be transferred,
•the warehouse and status codes of which the item is issued,
•the warehouse and status codes of which the item is to enter,
•the quantity to be moved,
•a comment justifying the transaction.
Once the transaction has been validated, it is recorded in a file and the inventory is updated. Then two transactions are carried out: a transfer issue transaction TI and a transfer receipt transaction TR.
