Procedure for co-products

When demands do exist for so-called co-products, the MRP procedure first computes the requirements for those co-products (by applying the reorder policy rules defined for each item).

For each co-product, the planned orders are applied to the Source items associated to the co-product (defined in the Item management window) by using the data in the co-product BOM.

This mechanism creates requirements for the Source items. These requirements are then classically processed by the MRP procedure applied to the different items.
