This window displays, as a function of the selected options,
• the machines or labor loads (following either a forward or a backward schedule),
• the capacity or the capacity utilization ratio for the entity selected in the right hand list:
o work center,
o cost
center,
o workshop,
o labor qualification,
o tool.
The capacity and the capacity utilization are not defined for the labor in the work centers and the workshops. Thus, to compute this, it is necessary to define labor qualifications.
Work loads issued from the planned orders appear in green, those from the firm orders in blue, and those from the released orders in red.
The setup loads are represented in a dark color whereas the execution loads appear in a bright color.
The Backlog option presents the total of the number of work load hours which exceed the capacity.
It is possible to display either the totals or the details by type of order.
It is possible to choose the time period which is displayed by using the >> and << buttons and selecting a date using the Calendar button.
When clicking on the Print button, this graph is printed out. The numerical data corresponding to the graph can be visualized by the Table button.
If the work load exceeds the capacity, some modifications have to be entered. For example, it is possible to modify the sales forecasts or the production capacities using the calendars, or to change the lead-times of the items before running a new MRP calculation. In addition, the work order dates can be manually changed (Planned Work Order Maintenance function).
