Work Centers

The work centers describe the production equipment of the plant.

A work center can represent:

      a single machine,

      a assembly line,

      an homogeneous set of machines.

The software computes the workloads generated by the work orders for each work center.

Routings describe the item’s manufacturing process, that is to say the sequence of the operations to manufacture an item. An operation takes place on a work center. You must therefore create work centers before creating the routings.

nVC In order to create the work centers, at least one cost center must have been created.

A work center is referred to by a single code and identified by a description.
